Installation and device setting

Placement guide:
The PM sensor is faced down (use the picture above as a reference)
The device should be at least 20 cm above the ground with good ventilation
Keep away from direct sunlight and rain.
Suggested location: above doors or under the roof (as shown below)

Setting up a wireless network for the first time:
After the initial boot (the OLED screen will displays the current status and value), the system will start the AP mode by default.
Turn on the WI-FI of your mobile phone, computer or tablet near the MAPSV6 device.
Search for a WI-FI hotspot called "MAPS6_setup"

3. Connect the "MAPS6_setup" hotspot to start Wi-Fi configuration (some device will show message such as "Connected, but no Internet" which is fine)

4. Open the web browser of the mobile phone/computer/tablet and enter "10.0.0.1" to connect to the Wi-Fi configuration page.

5. Meanwhile, MAPSV6 will scan for available wireless network nearby and show them on the configuration page as a list. Click the wireless network you want MAPSV6 to use.

6. After selecting the wireless network, enter the WI-FI password for the network. At last, click the "submit button" to complete the set up.

7.After WI-FI configuration MAPSV6 will restart and connect to the wireless network chosen. The "@" symbol can be seen on the lower right corner of the screen to check whether it is connected to the internet (need about 5-10 seconds after the system started)
The "MAPS6_setup" hotspot will automatically close after finishing the setting. In other words, MAPSV6 change from AP mode to client mode.

Setting error / Reset
If you enter the wrong password or need to change to another network, you can use the "Reset" button directly below the MAPSV6 device.

While the device is running , press the reset button for 10 seconds and then release, the system will clear the current WiFi settings and restart, returning into the initial state. After resetting the device you can configure the wireless network again by connecting to "MAPS6_setup"
